She then spent the next 8 years working as a copywriter for Young & Rubicam New York (Y&R), at that time the largest privately-owned advertising agency in the world. She created print, television and radio advertising for clients like the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, U.S. Postal Service, Kraft General Foods, Colgate-Palmolive, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and the United Negro College Fund. She then came on staff at Word Of Life Ministries and helped Pastor Gaspar Anastasi fulfill his vision of giving the church a presence and a voice through print and broadcast media. In 2003, Dorothy re-located with the church’s headquarters to Fort Myers, Florida where she helped to cast an image for the ministry locally and internationally through a broad range of media. In April 2013, Dorothy launched dotBatts Designs.[/two_third]
